A lot of the views from this park towards the lake will be west facing--but not all. There are places where one can look north or south to be looking at the lake.
There are tangles of shrubby stuff on both sides of the westward curve at the far north end of the road that could be birdy.
There is a groove of trees east of the north bound road just below the dam which could be birdy, especially during migration.
A scope is a must here.
Winter waterfowl. Spring and fall migrants.
American Golden-Plover have been found here during spring migration.
An occasional Caspian and Black Tern have been reported from the park.
Wintering Bald Eagles are regular.
