About this Location

The MA-3A Bridge features a large scenic area pull-off area with public parking for several cars. Little’s Bridge was constructed in 1825, and tolls were collected until 1865. Now it is known as the Sergeant Michael Jason Kelley Memorial Bridge. It was dedicated in 2006, to honor a Scituate resident’s service and ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan.

A paved pull-off area provides parking for several cars, plus sidewalk access to the bridge.

Watch for the occasional harbor seal in the water. Bald eagles nest nearby, so you may see adult or young eagles. Also watch for the peregrine falcons, which sometimes chase terns and red-tailed hawks. In the summer, look for snowy egrets in the marsh.
