From the parking lot, a short, paved loop trail brings you to a spectacular overlook and back.

The San Diego Overlook Site offers magnificent views of San Diego Canyon. Located on Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway (NM-4), the site provides accessible restrooms and a paved trail out to the edge of the canyon.
