There are several access points to the Dunes Beach through the Dunes Campground. This area will be busy during camping season. From November through April, the campground is closed but you can still walk to the area from the Visitor Centre Parking lot.

Pinery Provincial Park is a 2532.19 ha park operated by Ontario Parks. It was established in 1957.
