The grassy hillsides on Arabella Dr. and the north end of Olds Creek Dr. can be great for hearing Montezuma Quail. The east end of Limpia Creek Dr. ends at a canyon wall and Limpia Creek. A good location for Canyon Wren, and open area species. On Tomahawk Drive, on the side of Arabella is a good place to hear Montezuma Quail. Further down Crooked Oak Trail is where Olds Creek crosses and creates a small canyon. Over on Antler Drive is the high grasslands at 5400 feet. This area is good for bluebirds in the winter and Cassin's Sparrows in the summer. Several residences in Limpia Crossing are some of the better hummingbird homes in the region.
