Birds of Interest

A variety of ducks, geese, swans, American Coot, Horned Grebe, and Common Loon may be seen during appropriate times of year. Purple Martins may nest in boxes around the lake.

About this Location

Hutchins Lake is a 380 acre lake located near Fennville, MI. Much of it is surrounded by private property. Viewing can be done from Clyde Township Park on the south side of the lake, which has several parking spots. Additional viewing, albeit with less vantage of the lake, can be done at the 59th Street boat launch on the north side of the lake.
