Access to Rio Grande viewpoints provided at El Rio Park, where there is a $3 entry fee (advertised at $5). Shoals and a rickety wooden structure provide view both up and down the Rio Grande.

The trail down to the river is rocky and steep. A high-clearance vehicle (SUV or truck) is required to drive down the bluff. Low-clearance vehicles can be parked on top of the bluff.
