This hotspot consists of two private nature preserves owned and managed by The Kensington Conservancy, the Boyer Preserve and Foster Parkland and Walking Trails. It is also the home of The Kensington Conservation Centre. There is a public hiking trail that is free to use. Bird feeders can be found along Boyer Drive during the winter months and are open to the public to view.
Restrooms are available during regular business hours when staff are present at The Kensington Conservation Centre.
Foster Parkland and Walking Trails - 3.5 km - the trails are a moderate hike. They are natural (rocks, roots, etc.) with some steep changes in elevation. Rocky segments may be very slippery after rainfalls. There are a few low areas that are seasonally wet. These trails may not be suitable for everyone. Learn more here.
