Walk the paved trails around the park and check the trees and shrubby areas for migrants during the spring and fall. Many warbler, orioles, tanagers, and flycatchers can be seen here during migration.
Migrant songbirds in the spring and fall fill the trees. The ponds do not attract many waterfowl, but a few herons may be seen.
This park is owned by Texas A&M and has paved trails throughout. There is one bridge that is not paved and is simply a stone in the creek, so that is the only inaccessibe spot fod those with disabilites. Parking is simply along the road where signs allow. This park is not usually very busy.
The trails are not named, but loop throughout the area.
