Buffalo Creek Swamp is crossed by Laurel Road which is a well-maintained dirt road. On the north side of the road you can see a significant area of swamp where various ducks and waders are seen regularly. The south side of the road is bordered by bushes and spaced out small trees giving you plenty of opportunity to see sparrows, warblers etc. Buffalo Creek is on the west end and is popular for fishing.
Don't be surprised if someone stops and asks what you are looking at or if you need any help. It is a fairly isolated spot with mostly local traffic. The road is wide enough that you can park to one side and be out of the way of the farm trailers and school buses.
