This is a very small public park in Pacific Grove, dominated by a grove of eucalyptus, with a few additional trees. There is a small creek (often dry). In recent years is has not typically visited often. In the 1960s through 1980s, the flower eucalypts often attracted orioles, tanagers, and rare warblers among the abundant Yellow-rumped Warblers. In winter 2023-2024, more visits produced wintering Blackburnian, Lucy's, Nashville, and Palm warblers, so more coverage likely helps in finding rarities.
At least formally, the park attracted orioles, tanagers, and rare warblers among the abundant Yellow-rumped Warblers and the few regular Townsend's Warbler in late fall and winter. There is a spring record of a singing Yellow-throated Warbler many years ago.
