About Dyer River
Dyer River flows for 20.2 miles from its source to its mouth. It starts near the town of Somerville, on the northern border of Jefferson, and runs southwest through Jefferson. Along the way, it passes by Dyer Long Pond and South Jefferson. It then enters Newcastle, where it crosses North Newcastle and Sheepscot villages before joining the tidal Sheepscot River.
