The Wildcat Conservation Area is a 1,200-acre natural preserve located in Boxford. The Wildcat Conservation Area is managed by the Boxford Conservation Commission and the Essex County Greenbelt Association, who work together to protect and restore this valuable habitat.
Wildcat Conservation Area formerly had pasture, woodlots, and orchards. The Diamond Match Factory harvested White Pine in this area in the late 1800s.
