The McCreary County Park is located off US Highway 27 just north of Whitley City and includes a community center building which houses the McCreary County Senior Citizens Center, a multi-purpose dining/meeting room with kitchen, gymnasium and offices. The park also includes several shelters, baseball/softball fields, playground equipment and the McCreary County Fairgrounds.
