About this Location

The Fletcher Street Bridge is a historic bridge that crosses the Wachusett Reservoir. The bridge was built in 1896 as part of the Boston Water Supply System, which created the reservoir by flooding several towns and villages. The bridge offers views of the reservoir and its surrounding forests and is a popular spot for birdwatching and fishing.

Parking is available on the north side of the bridge and an accessible sidewalk leads to and crosses the bridge.
