About this Location

Access to the Myrin Preserve is at the intersection of Blue Hill Road and Monument Valley Road in Great Barrington. An abandoned portion of Blue Hill Road crosses the valley and leads to the best birding at the hotspot. The habitat at the preserve is heavily influenced by beavers with calm impoundments and diverse avian use.

Notable Trails

At the aluminum gate on old Blue Hill Road, take the main trail south to Barbieri Pond. Other trails branch off from this. There is no signage.
