Check the woods on both sides of the entry road for woodland birds as well asa looking for wetland birds in the wetlands.

Do not follow your GPS to get to the wetlands. Turn at the sign on Highway 272 and seen in the photo. The rest rooms are in the Education Building which may not be open.

There are two separate wetlands at this site with walking trails around them. There is a viewing deck as well as a viewing tower. Further south on Hwy 172 on the east side of the highway there is another viewing tower overlooking a third wetland.
