Barnstable Harbor is a natural harbor situated on the north side of Cape Cod Bay, adjacent to the Sandy Neck Barrier Beach. The harbor hosts recreational activities, such as boating, fishing, and kayaking. Barnstable Harbor is an important historical and ecological site, as it was the first port of call for the Mayflower Pilgrims in 1620 and is adjacent to the Cape Cod National Seashore.
