Tips for Birding

Mostly good for shorebirds in migration and wintering waterfowl. The best shorebirding can be found from the Barber's Hill Rd access point. Waterfowl can be found at all the access points. The Fig Orchard Rd access point is mostly deep water. The E Canal Rd access point has good view of the deep water for diving ducks near the dam, Barber's Hill Rd and E Canal Rd give views of shallow water and flooded grass from puddle ducks.

About this Location

This is a shallow reservoir with some wet grassy fields. There are three good access points, on E Canal Rd, Fig Orchard Rd, and Barbers Hill Rd.
