You won’t see Estancia’s beautiful Arthur Park if you are just passing through town. But if you care to take a short detour down Highland Avenue, four blocks west of the main thoroughfare, you’ll find the park.

The park has a small “pond” that was once a spring-fed watering hole for people and livestock, picnic areas, barbeque grills, benches under shaded cover and trees, a playground area, and trout fishing for youth under 12 and Senior citizens. It also has a sand volleyball pit, basketball court, and horseshoe pits to complete the perfect place for a family outing or simply a “walk in the park.”

Located adjacent to the Estancia Aquatic Center, the Estancia Library, and the Estancia Police and Fire Department, this clean and beautiful park offers something for everyone and all in close proximity.

Giant old trees line the pond and park creating the essence of an oasis away from the noise, bright light, and busyness of every day.
