Harrison County Lake is located about 10 miles north of Bethany, just west of Route W.  The lake was built in 1994 as a water supply and recreational reservoir.  It covers 280 acres, is moderately fertile, and contains several areas with flooded timber which provides excellent fish habitat.

There is limited accessibility, but one fishing dock near the campground is wheelchair accessible.
