Generally the areas to explore are in the northwest scrubby areas or the trail under the pine trees on the north border, but walking trails wind around the edges of the campus too. There is also a loop trail in a small scrubby area near the tennis courts. (See maps & photos).
This hotspot is on the grounds of Lone Star College-Cy Fair, which was a small community college when the hotspot was set up but now is a multi-building campus with many students. Access is easiest from West Road, which crosses Barker Cypress. Visitors may park in any area not marked with signs for faculty & staff only, but the best parking area seems to be in front of the Harris County Library on site, which would also be the best access to public restrooms during hours the library is open. Check carefully for signs indicating parking restrictions if visiting.
On the campus map, the trail #12 is identified as a nature trail. There is also a small loop trail near the tennis courts.
