Tips for Birding

Take a cell photo of the map. Worth a loop, starting at the trailhead and bearing left. Continue parallel to the freeway until it links up with the return trail, then keep straight. This will loop around the pond with some short trails in the back. Upon return, take the first right to return to the parking lot.

Birds of Interest

Good for area breeders with no real specialty of the park, and migration can be good for warblers and thrushes.
