Tips for Birding

A huge pull-out allows for some walking space to search the ravine, and hill sides. Keep an eye out overhead for Zone-tailed Hawk and Golden Eagle. And in the winter a good spot for Western Bluebird and Townsend's Solitaire. And maybe at night a Western Screech-Owl.

Birds of Interest

Golden Eagle, Zone-tailed Hawk, Western Screech-Owl, Violet-green Swallow, Bushtit, Rock & Canyon Wren, Black-chinned & Rufous-crowned Sparrow, Migrating warblers, Hepatic & Western Tanager, Black-headed Grosbeak
