Greenlawn Cemetery is one of the municipal cemeteries in Keene. It was established in 1889 as an extension of the nearby Woodland Cemetery, which dates back to 1853. Greenlawn Cemetery has an entrance on Greenlawn Street and covers about 10 acres of land. It is the final resting place of many notable residents of Keene, such as politicians, businessmen, educators, and veterans. The cemetery is maintained by the City of Keene Parks and Recreation Department and is open to the public for visitation and genealogical research.
