Birds of Interest

3-5 species of hummingbirds. Ladder-backed Woodpecker, American Kestrel, Western Kingbird, Phainopepla, Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay, Cactus, Rock & Canyon Wren, Lesser Goldfinch, Black-throated and Black-chinned sparrows, House Finch, Canyon Towhee, Pyrrhuloxia, as well as spring and fall migrants.

About this Location

This site is open for day use only. 507 acres of Davis Mountains foothills. There are cactus gardens, protected canyon with perennial springs, grasslands with mixed desert scrub, and seasonal tanks.
