There is a good size pull out for parking along Pond Road at the very southern end of Damariscotta Lake. 

Sparkling clean water dotted with small islands, a soundtrack of trilling loons, and premier fishing are just some of what makes Damariscotta Lake so special. The lake covers 4,600 acres and has shorelines in Jefferson, Nobleboro, and Newcastle. Kayaking, canoeing, sailing, world-class iceboating, and swimming are a few of the many ways to get out on the water. Camping is available on Spectacle Islands
