Longfellow Pond was named after the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who lived nearby and often visited the pond for inspiration. The pond is surrounded by a wooded trail.

Longfellow Pond is located south of Worcester Street (MA-9) and north of Oakland Street.
