Gates Pond is a reservoir that is a popular destination for cross-country skiing, hiking, and horseback riding. The pond is surrounded by a 2.4-mile loop trail that offers views of the water and the woods. The trail is easy to follow and suitable for all skill levels. 

The Gates Pond Reservoir conservation property is owned by the Town of Hudson. It is 231 acres.
