This section of River Road is adjacent to the Quinapoxet River east of I-190. It goes east for 1 mile to Thomas Road. River Road is a popular destination for cyclists, hikers, and nature lovers who enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding woods. River Road is home to several historic landmarks, such as the Old Stone Church, the Wachusett Dam, and the Thomas Rice Homestead.
