The primary attraction is the migrant waterfowl which gather in Scollard Bay during spring and fall. A variety of waterfowl species has been observed here, including the locally uncommon Canvasback.
Kimberley Park is a municipal park administered by the Township of Selwyn. Only a quarter of a hectare in size, it consists primarily of manicured lawn with a few scattered trees. Its real attraction is as a publicly accessible vantage from which to overlook Scollard Bay on Buckhorn Lake. Located at the east end of Edenderry Line, there is room for several vehicles to park at the cul de sac.
