Warblers, herons, hawks
Sandwiched between Hwy. 210 and the railroad tracks this small area has a boat ramp and a large parking lot. Access to the Fishing River is bordered two bridges, with habitat for sparrows along the highway and wet woodland area next to the tracks. Since it is not far from Cooley Lake it is worth a look-see, especially during migration periods. Even though the woodland is young it still has the potential for Cerulean Warbler and other unusual species. The area has a peaceful atmosphere.
