This is part of the Blue River Parkway county park in Jackson County. (Blue River Parkway Jackson County MO Parks + Rec (makeyourdayhere.com). A boat ramp, picnic shelter, and athletic field overlook the riparian corridor of the Blue River. A portable toilet is currently on the site (2023). 

No maintained trail on the designated site. A mountain bike and hiking trail is on the east side of the Blue River, accessible by crossing the bridge on Blue Ridge Boulevard. The trail goes under the highway bridge.
