Tips for Birding

One can drive through the cemetery when the gates are open, and pull-over to avoid blocking the paved but quite narrow roads. Please do not enter when the gates are closed.

Birds of Interest

Flocks of blackbirds, cowbirds & starlings sometimes attract rarities, and the gravestones and nearby trees at cemetery edges can have migrants (spring and fall) with vagrants at times. Open fields and nearly brushy areas good for shrikes, meadowlarks, flocks of sparrows, and sometimes kingbirds in migration. In recent years, a flock of Wild Turkey may be present.
