Silver Lake Park covers 44 acres and includes a beach, a playground, a picnic area, and a boat ramp. The park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and offers swimming, fishing, boating, and hiking opportunities. 

Access to the park is a patchwork of side streets but offers some wonderful scenery and an active recreation area when found. Shore fishing is allowed (except on the beach). Boating is not allowed on this lake. Walkers stroll the 0.5-mile flat perimeter road and picnic tables are available along the shore.
