Georgetown Community Park is located on 8th Avenue, South of Chicago Drive.

The main features of the park include a public beach (Swim at your own risk, No lifeguard is on duty), a walking trail around the lake, a fishing area, and a pavilion with tables. 

The park charges an entrance fee to non-residents to help cover the cost of security.
