Schreiner Park resides on both the east and west side of Lake Junction. Very easy birding on the lake which can have dabbler and diving ducks. Check the dam and below for Spotted Sandpiper, other shorebirds and waders. Large trees on both sides can have any number of passerines. At the north end of the east side is a non maintained trail down stream. You can get looks at a pool of water closer to the highway that often has more ducks in it than the lake. Be on the look out for all three kingfishers. The hillside east of the park can have Black-capped Vireo in the spring/summer.
