Watch for hawks on the powerlines and power poles for birds such as cranes and shorebirds in the fields.

This is a highway, and people drive fast on it. It has produced great birds such as Short-eared Owl and Ferruginous Hawk, but parking opportunities are few and the highway does not have much of a shoulder. Park with caution, and do not tresspass.
