Lake Waukewan covers an area of 928 acres and has a maximum depth of 68 feet. The lake is fed by Winona Lake and drains into Lake Winnipesaukee. Lake Waukewan is a popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, and enjoying the scenic views. The lake provides drinking water for the town of Meredith. Lake Waukewan was used to power a gristmill and sawmill in Meredith Village in the 18th and 19th centuries.
