About this Location

Access 49 trails and 225 skiable acres from our 4,062’ summit in six minutes on the Wildcat Express Quad. Wildcat Mountain’s unique proximity to Mount Washington, 2,000’ base elevation and northwestern exposure subjects the mountain to the greatest amount of snowfall in the area, averaging more than 200 inches annually. Carve the Lynx Trail, voted Most Scenic Trail in the North Conway Area by National Geographic and cruise the Polecat Trail, the longest ski trail in New Hampshire, a 2.75-mile beginner trail from the summit, and experience classic New England skiing and riding this winter at Wildcat Mountain.

Wildcat Mountain was acquired by Peak Resorts in 2010. The company has since invested in additional snowmaking, major improvements to the Wildcat Base Lodge as well as the investment in a beginner surface lift for the 2012-2013 season. The lift, located next to the Snowcat Triple, is a great starting point for a skier’s first experience on snow and will compliment the Snowcat novice terrain. Additional improvements for the 2013-14 season included new snowmaking technology on the Lynx trail, new snowmaking pipe in key locations, an upgraded deck for sled storage on the summit patrol building and a rebuilt base patrol building. New air compressors and revamped pumps were also part of the upgrade. More natural beauty has been restored with a summit clear of the dilapidated gondola building.
