There is limited on-street parking on the north side of Marietta Street, from which one can access the south side of the lake. Binoculars will reach all parts of the lake, but a scope can be useful, particularly for the cormorants on the old pilings in the center and on the far shore. Probably not birded as often as it should be.
Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks, often in good numbers; both Double-crested and Neotropic Cormorants; Great Blue Heron and Great Egret; ducks in winter
Small pond in a residential area. Residents are generally friendly, but be polite.
