Pine Park is a 95-acre forest along the Connecticut River in Hanover. It is Hanover's oldest conservation area and was purchased by residents in 1900 from the Diamond Match Company. The park has views of the river and the golf course. The park is home to some of the tallest hemlock and white pine trees in the state, some of which are over 125 years old.
The Pine Park Association was formed in 1905 to preserve 93 acres for the “public health, growth, and material prosperity of the Town of Hanover.” Pine Park is the oldest conservation area in Hanover.
There are several trails through the property that are open to the public. They run near the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, along the Connecticut River and Girl Brook.
