The Andrews Brook Trail follows Andrews Brook upstream and crosses it multiple times before reaching Lake Solitude and connecting with the Solitude Trail to the summit. Each trail is 5-6 miles round trip from the trailhead to the summit and back with substantial climbs.

In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mount Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort. The 4,085-acre lake at Mount Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. Situated about a mile from the beach, the campground offers lean-to and platform sites for family camping in a natural setting.
