Shubael Pond is a 57-acre Great Pond with an average depth of 17.5 feet and a maximum depth of 47 feet. The 1.1 miles of shoreline of this natural kettle hole pond are wooded and moderately developed with homes.
Access is provided by a paved and concrete pad ramp at the end of Willimantic Road managed by the town of Barnstable. Parking is available with space for approximately 10 cars. There is also a small town landing at the end of Shubael Pond Road. There is a 10-horsepower limit on outboard motors enforced by the town of Barnstable.
