When I visited it, I parked at the entrance to the landfill, then walked down the road. However, the landfill was closed that day so I don’t know if that would interfere when the landfill is open. There are however a couple of gravel pull-offs down the road. I also birded for some of the time by just driving slowly down the road with my windows down. There wasn’t a lot of traffic, but cars are able to pass if necessary.
