Bald Knob offers views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding hills. It is a popular destination for hikers and runners who can access it from several trails in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area. The shortest and steepest route is the Bald Knob Trail, which starts from NH-171 and climbs 1.9 miles to the summit.
