Cactus Park is a city-owned community park in George West. It has a playground, pool, an animal shelter, and a small water treatment facility on it. No bathroom facility open as of March 2024. There are mature deciduous trees scattered throughout the park and mowed grass along a forested fence line. There is a Vermilion Flycatcher territory here, House Finches and Lesser Goldfinches, swallows, sparrows, and neotropical migrants.
