Official WebsiteEasy, paved trail, though there is a small rise as you travel north (especially at The Ascent). It's not too strenuous, but it's worth noting.
The area immediately south of, and including, Long Bridge, is an elevated trail that brings you about halfway up the trees. Here you might get better looks at migrant songbirds!
The Strand--North (High Bridge, Catfish Bend, The Ascent) - Park at the trailhead and walk north (to the right) up to Pope Lick Park, about 2 miles. Alternatively, use this hotspot if you walk south from Pope Lick Park--Prairie Preserve hotspot.

This group of hotspots are positioned close together. The overall hotspot has its pin located at the trailhead parking lot, and the other two hotspots (one to the north and one to the south) are further away from the trailhead in the different directions.
The Strand (please use a more specific location) - use this hotspot for historic checklists, or for when you bird the entrance road and walk a bit to the north and the south, without continuing to the neighboring parks (each at least 2 miles from the trailhead).
