Birders may be surprised by what they find so close to a suburban community along an accessible paved pathway that meanders through a deciduous forest and along open fields, providing decent viewing opportunities. The pathway is paved and relatively smooth with some gradual inclines. 

About this Location

Farrell Park in South Burlington, 22 acres, has two baseball fields and a large open field that can be used for football or other games, a playground, and a picnic area. The park has access to the Rec Path, a paved multi-use trail for walking, running, or biking. Some pedestrian trails wind through the woods. there is also a designated area where dogs can run and play off-leash.
