About this Location

The Red Fox Trail, north of Orange Road, is now open (Area C). Walk into this park from the multi-use trail along Orange Road between Orange Friends Church and Bale Kenyon Road. Limited parking is available at Orange Friends Church.

McCammon Creek Park, east and west of Bale Kenyon Road, is still in development as restoration takes place. The plan calls for adding trails and shelters, renovating the Bicentennial Barn, and building additional amenities to welcome visitors to the park. 

Notable Trails

Red Fox Trail (Gravel Trail) 
Approximate walking time: 30 minutes; moderate elevation changes
Leashed dogs are permitted on this trail. 

Upon entering the park from the multi-purpose trail on East Orange Road or from the Orange Friends Church parking lot, visitors will enjoy this 1.5 mile trail through meadow and woodland habitats where they are likely to see wild turkeys, butterflies, red tailed hawks, cottontails, red fox, and white-tailed deer. Visitors may enjoy reminiscing and stopping for a photo while traversing the pine grove.
